SEA-INSPIRED JEWELRY

There are places that stay with us even when we are far away. For me, one of them is the sea.

I was born in Galicia and since I was a child I have collected shells on the shore. Over the years I continued doing so in other places that are part of my story, from Venezuela to Mexico. Some I have kept for decades; others ended up becoming jewelry.

This is how Joyas del Mar was born, a collection of pieces inspired by the ocean and the imperfect beauty of the shapes that nature creates.

From nature to jewelry

Natural shells, conches, and marine shapes are transformed into handcrafted pieces in our workshop in Mexico.

For some jewelry, we preserve the original shell, chosen one by one for its shape, texture, and character. No two are exactly alike, and that is precisely where their beauty lies.

AN ICONIC PIECE: THE STARFISH BRACELET

Among the most recognizable pieces from Joyas del Mar is the Starfish Bracelet, one of Olga Prieto's iconic designs.

A sculptural piece inspired by the organic forms of the ocean, crafted in brass and designed to embrace the wrist like a small sculpture.

It has remained in our collections throughout the years, oblivious to seasons and trends. One of those jewels that are now part of the brand's language.

OCEAN JEWELS IN THE PRESS

Over time, some of the most iconic pieces from the collection have appeared in fashion editorials and publications.

Jewelry born from the sea to wear far beyond summer.
