More than a jewel, an amulet for your everyday life.
In a constantly moving world, we look for pieces that will serve as our anchor.
Olga Prieto's Amulets collection stems from the deep belief that a jewel is much more than an ornament: it is a repository of wishes, a reminder of your strength, and a source of daily calm and security.

– What do amulet jewelry pieces mean to us? Why do so many people use them in their everyday looks?
Amulet jewelry holds profound meaning: it's not just an adornment, but a way to feel connected . We place our wishes, memories, or emotions in them, connecting us to something greater: to luck, protection , or simply the energy we wish to attract. Many people choose them daily because, beyond their aesthetic appeal, they bring them calm, security , and an emotional connection to who they are or who they aspire to be.
– What meaning can a jewel have for us? (protection, nostalgia, security…?)
A piece of jewelry can be many things at once: protection, nostalgia, strength, or a small personal celebration. For me, jewelry is an emotion . It's something you feel: when you touch it, when you notice its weight, when you see it and remember a moment or a person. From this idea, the Amulets collection was born: pieces designed to lift your spirits, transmit optimism, and accompany the wearer.
– Sara Carbonero is a very spiritual woman who seeks emotional connections in many areas of her life, including her clothes and jewelry. What do you think is the reason for this?
I think it has to do with a more conscious way of living . Sara conveys that sensitivity of someone who chooses to surround herself only with things that have meaning. She doesn't wear things just for the sake of it, but because they inspire her, because they make her feel. That connection with the emotional , with the authentic, is something I also try to reflect in my work: jewelry that is not just worn, but experienced .
– What image do you think Sara is trying to project when she wears this type of jewelry?
An image perfectly aligned with her essence: natural, approachable , yet possessing immense inner strength. By wearing amulet jewelry, she projects sensitivity and authenticity , without artifice. It's not about adornment, but about self-expression .
– What is it about your style — so natural and yet so refined — that fits so well with the idea of amulet jewelry?
Her style is very organic , with a balance between simplicity and depth. This naturalness perfectly complements her amulet jewelry, which doesn't seek to dazzle, but rather to accompany. They are pieces with soul, just like her way of dressing: intuitive, serene, and meaningful.
– How does that connection between a piece of jewelry and its owner usually occur? Is it something that is born when choosing it or is it built over time?
Sometimes it happens instantly, like love at first sight. Other times, it develops over time , when a piece of jewelry accompanies us through important moments and becomes part of our story. In any case, the connection is always emotional . It's not the jewelry itself that holds the meaning, but rather the person who wears or gives it as a gift who defines it.
– Are some pieces of jewelry more suitable for becoming amulets than others? (due to their composition, metal, stone…)
Yes, some materials, due to their history or energy, invite that connection. Natural stones , for example, have a very powerful symbolism; precious metals , like brass or gold, retain body heat and age beautifully. But ultimately, the true power of an amulet lies in the intention : in the desire we project onto it.
